A New Chapter for Golden Promise
Kasis Clean Water Technologies is developing a proprietary gold and cyanide recovery process for a major industry player operating in the Golden Promise region of central Newfoundland — one of Canada's most exciting emerging gold districts.
The Golden Promise property sits within Newfoundland's central gold belt, an area that has seen a surge of exploration activity as companies recognize the province's enormous untapped mineral potential. With a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource and high-grade drill results, the district has attracted serious attention from the mining community.
Why Golden Promise
Newfoundland's central gold belt represents a greenfield opportunity — relatively unexplored compared to established mining jurisdictions, with geology that suggests significant discovery potential. The province offers a stable political environment, established mining-friendly regulations, and excellent infrastructure.
For Kasis, Golden Promise provides an ideal proving ground for our KCell technology. The project offers:
- Real-world validation — Deploying KCell in an active gold exploration program demonstrates commercial viability
- Partnership credibility — Working with an established explorer in a known district builds industry confidence
- Scalability proof — Success here creates a template for deployment across other gold projects globally
Our Proprietary Process
The Kasis technology allows for a two-pronged approach at Golden Promise. For operations using cyanide-based leaching, our KCell material enables simultaneous recovery of both gold and cyanide from solution — meaning the mine can achieve excellent gold recovery while eliminating cyanide from its tailings entirely.
For new operations, we offer a completely cyanide-free alternative using halide-based lixiviants combined with KCell adsorption resins. Either way, the result is cleaner mining with better economics.
From Newfoundland to the World
The Golden Promise development is more than a single project — it's a commercial beachhead. With $300 billion worth of gold mined globally each year, the market for a proven cyanide replacement is enormous. Success in Newfoundland positions Kasis to deploy across Canada and internationally, wherever gold is being extracted from the earth.
We're proud to be partnering with operators in one of Canada's newest gold districts, and excited about what this means for the future of clean mining technology.
